League Experience FAQs

How do I know if I qualified for an experience?

After the qualification period is complete, League Events will send you a Save The Date and/or an RSVP form as confirmation and to save your spot.

What if I never received an RSVP form?

Reach out to [email protected] if you have concerns about your qualification. You will be required to complete a Google Form about your metrics which will be reviewed by our analytics team.

Can I bring a plus one?

Plus ones are experience-specific and will be noted on the RSVP form if they are invited. As a standard, these experiences are specifically for adults unless noted otherwise.
*You are unable to bring a Sunrun employee as your plus one unless you’re married to that individual, or in a significant relationship known to your manager.

Can I pay to bring a plus one?

Plus ones are experience-specific. If invited, all one-ticket earners will have the option to pay for a plus one through a future wage deduction. The additional fee allows Sunrun to provide them the same experience that you earned.

Can I bring kids?

It all depends on the experience. When children are able to participate, details will be shared on the RSVP form - an additional child plus one fee will be communicated where applicable. We will coordinate and secure all travel for children.

Can I travel earlier or leave later?

Company policy mandates that you are not allowed to arrive early or depart later than the official League Experience dates. Any flight alterations from the original League Experience will forfeit airfare coverage paid by Sunrun, and you will be responsible for all travel costs.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Earned experiences are non-transferable to anyone, including another Sunrun employee.

Can I defer my experience?

No. Any experiences other than Combine are not deferrable.

Can I opt out of the experience and receive a payout?

There will be no cash payout or alternative prizes if you are unable to attend a League Experience.

Can I cancel?

If you cancel after the stated deadlines for an experience, or RSVP “yes” and do not show up, your experience will be considered fulfilled. This includes travel documentation scenarios - not securing in time, documents not arriving on time, etc.
*If you RSVP’d for a plus one, and they do not show up or cancel after the stated deadlines, all fees will be charged through a wage deduction.

What if I’m local to the experience?

If you live near an experience destination, flights may not be necessary or required. Please reach out to [email protected] regarding alternative travel arrangements.

What if the experience is international?

U.S. Citizens will need a passport (valid up to 6 months after the time of travel) to enter countries internationally. If you are not a U.S. Citizen, you are responsible for reviewing any other required documents that may be needed. Any necessary travel documents will be your financial responsibility.
